Queen Anne’s Lace

I liked the look of this. It was helpful that it had a nice uncluttered background, actually snow on a frozen pond. Initially I had no idea what it was until a friend told me that it looked like “a dead wild carrot”. Then another friend chimed in with “It looks like Queen Anne’s’ Lace that was about to bloom when it was interrupted by cold weather”. After a bit of research I discovered that “wild carrot” and “Queen Anne’s Lace” are in fact the same thing. I’m going with “Queen Anne’s Lace” because it sounds so much better.
