Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Seen in a neighboring garden.

It was nearing 70F/20C today. We seriously considered having Christmas lunch on the dock, but in the end decided not too. It was just too much trouble carrying all the food down. Instead we ate in the dining room from where we had a good view of the lake.

I don’t know if anyone reads this blog – I don’t check. I do it largely for myself: to keep me taking pictures; give me a chance to exercise the little grey cells; keep a record of what I’m up to etc. But should it be that someone does read it I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for your interest.
