This was surprise. I had gone down to the kitchen to get something to drink, when out of the corner of my eye I sensed movement. When I saw what it was I hastily grabbed a camera and without thinking too much about the settings shot off a few frames. We used have quite a few of them, but I haven’t seen one for ages. One of my cats was a ferocious rabbit killer. He decimated the local population and guess they moved away. Now I have a house cat and she doesn’t like to go out so I imagine they’ve decided it’s safe to come back.

Finally, I thought, a critter that will eat my weeds. But I guess it will probably eat the flowers too! Too bad.
