My friends/neighbors kindly invited me to spend time with them and their family for Thanksgiving. The festivities were to take place at their son’s house, which is only a short drive away from where they (and I live). Above: a view of the Hudson River from their house.
I’d recently had some quite severe dental problems including a broken tooth, two root canals and an infections. I was in quite a bit of pain and generally felt down. I debated whether I should go to the celebrations, but eventually decided that if I was going to feel miserable I might as well do it with friends than stay at home an suffer by myself. So off I went.
After taking some Tylenol I was OK at first, but after eating the usual huge and delicious Thanksgiving feast the pain came back and eventually I had to leave early.
However, while I was there I managed to take a few pictures, some of which I quite like.
