This stone bridge is almost directly across the road from my house in Briarcliff Manor. It takes a small road from what was once the gatehouse/porte chochere (long since remodeled and now a private residence) to a large mansion: Chilmark, the former home of V. Everit Macy (it still exists in private hands).

There’s something about it that fascinates me and keep going back in different lights, using different cameras, different lenses do see what kind of pictures I can get.

On the day I took this the late afternoon light was rather nice.
