I have often walked past these houses and wondered why they they all look essentially the same (something which is not common in Briarcliff Manor). After a bit of research I discovered that they are two of six houses along Dalmeny Road originally built for workers of Briarcliff Farms. Another three houses stand on Old Briarcliff Road. Similar houses were also built on South State, Pleasantville and Poplar roads.
