I was standing in our kitchen around 5:00 pm yesterday when I noticed this lovely light coming in through the windows and falling on this two jugs, one of Costa Rican and brightly colored and the other more subdued (I don’t remember where its from). It had been a gorgeous day: 76F, a record for February and the scene made me feel cheerful and hopeful that Spring is not too far away (it’s not here yet through. The temperatures have now fallen to around 38F and will continue to fall throughout the day, possibly bringing sleet and freeing rain.
