Our friends had mentioned a great antiques store they’d found in Patterson, NY. It’s Fanny Doolittle Antiques and it’s truly magical. There’s fascinating stuff everyone and you have to look into every nook and cranny to ensure that you don’t miss anything.

Blue and white heaven. I’ve mentioned in earlier posts that my wife collects blue and white china. That was the primary reason our friends recommended the store to us. Needless to say we returned home with a few pieces.

Two heads are better than one.

Blue and white cat. My wife wasn’t wild on this one, but if you look behind it you’ll a portion of another object. It’s a larger, calico pattern blue and white cat and it now graces our dining room (See: Blue and White Cat)

And it’s on an historic site too! Mind you in our area it’s probably hard to find a site where George Washington didn’t camp.
